How can I improve my paintings, what are the weak points?

I am new to acrylic landscape painting and have recently painted these two paintings:

River Town unfinished painting.

(btw this is an imaginary town scene)

Nunney Somerset painting.

(this was copied from a picture in a book)

How are they in terms of tonal values, color light etc? Are there any other areas I should pay attention to?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Also how is the perspective and form is it ok?
Thanks.

They are both good no doubt, but you need to start using a light source and shadowing, so it does not make the paintings look flat and non dimensional. Shadow creates depth, which your paintings need. Your perspective is really great, and I can not see anything wrong with it, in either painting. They are both done very well. So you just need to work on your light source and shadowing in the future.
Really good work though.
